NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Lots hot sun and not much rain for the rest of the week.
Highs will reach the mid- to even upper-90s with the humidity making it feel like the triple digits. Heat advisories may be necessary by the end of the week with the humidity making it feel like 105-110.
Storms look to be few and far between for the next couple of days.
By the weekend, the heat bubble will break down, allowing for a few more storms and temperatures to gradually return to normal. The trend will continue into next week giving us a break from the extra hot weather.
A weak tropical wave may bring slightly better rain chances early next week but it doesn't look like a big deal.
Overall the Atlantic tropics remain quiet with no development expected in the next 5 days.
