NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A Bogalusa man will spend two years in prison for selling Oxycodone to an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration agent.

Donald Fontenot, 63, was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Kurt Engelhardt after Fontenot pleaded guilty to four counts of selling the drug.

In addition to his prison sentence, the judge gave Fontenot 3 years of supervised release, and fined him 400 dollars.

Oxycodone is a prescription-only Schedule II controlled substance and a highly addictive and abused opioid drug.
