French Quarter residents warned that film production may be noisy

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The City of New Orleans Health Department has issued a notice of noise variance to New Orleans residents in the French Quarter for Monday, July 25, 2016.
 
A production company will film exterior scenes at the Washington Artillery Park on Decatur Street and may exceed the ambient noise levels between 11 a.m. and midnight on Monday. Residents are advised to be patient and expect to hear loud noises outside of the normal hours outlined in the City's noise ordinance.

Businesses or individuals without a proper permit are prohibited from exceeding ambient noise levels outside of the hours of 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. on weekends.
