NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police recapture two teens who escaped from a juvenile detention center late Friday night.

Both of the teen armed robbery suspects were quickly found at a home in the 3000 block of Marigny Street.

Police say Kevon Williams, 17, and Ryan Davis, 16, both escaped from the Juvenile Youth Study Center in the 1100 block of Milton Street at 11:57 p.m.

The two teens were being held in connection to multiple armed robberies in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. Both wearing black clothing at the time of their escape.

Williams and Davis will be rebooked with the added charge of Escape.

According to police, the Louisiana State Children's code gives law enforcement the permission to identify juveniles who are wanted for a felony-grade delinquent act.
