NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left one man dead and injured two others.
Just after 7:50 p.m. officers responded to a call at the intersection of Stephen Girard Avenue and Desire Drive. Upon arrival, they were informed of three shooting victims that had already been transported to the hospital.
Two victims, a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The 35-year-old man died from his injuries.
The deceased victim's name has not been released as the investigation is ongoing.
The Orleans Parish coroner will release the victim's name and will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
