NOPD searching for missing autistic teenager

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are asking for the public's help finding a missing autistic teenager.

On July 24 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Joshua Harrison, 14, and his mother were walking to a store near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Louisa Street.

Harrison walked away from his mother and disappeared. He has not been seen since.

Harrison is described as a black male, five-feet-five-inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with short hair. He was last seen wearing a navy and light blue shirt, black pants, black and blue tennis shoes, a blue baseball cap. He was carrying a brown book bag.

Anyone with information about Harrison's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Kristie Harper or any Third District detective at 658-6030.
