Three Monday armed robberies reported by NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating three Monday armed robberies.

The first incident occurred at 3:23 a.m. in the 1000 block of Conti Street.

The victim, a 22-year-old man, was attempting to buy drugs from three suspects in a black Nissan with tinted windows.

One of the suspects struck the victim several times while driving him to the Behrman Park area, where they kicked him out of the vehicle after taking his cell phone and wallet

The next incident occurred just after 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of Caton Street.

The victim was approached by a suspect, described as a black man, armed with a gun and demanded the victim's belongings.

The victim complied and the subject fled with a Galaxy tablet and cell phone.

The third incident happened just before 5 p.m. in the 700 block of Howard Avenue.

The suspect entered the Circle K at Lee Circle armed with a gun.

He demanded cash from both cashiers working. They complied and the suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
