TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Deputies arrested a man who allegedly fired off a shotgun and killed his father, according to the Terrebonne Sheriff's Office.
The dispute happened around 6:50 p.m. on Sunday in the 6000 block of North Bayou Black Drive in Gibson. Witnesses said there was a fight between 26-year-old Joshua Resteivo and his father, 63-year-old Harold Short just before the shooting.
Resteivo has been booked on a second-degree murder charge. He remains behind bars at the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a $500,000 bond.
