WEST SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints officially reached the halfway point of training camp at The Greenbrier. Practice number seven in the books.
For the second straight day, Sean Payton moved the team to the lower field because of Wednesday night's rain in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
There were a couple things to take notice of at Thursday's practice.
For the second day in a row, a number of coaches from local colleges were on the sideline, and for the first time since training camp opened, the referees were there.
Plenty of practice centered around being live, which meant full-speed and plenty of tackling with the referees throwing flags if warranted.
The Saints will practice a total of 14 times here at The Greenbrier, but there are only three more workouts before team heads to New England on Monday.
