New Orleans Police name a suspect in connection with a Gentilly store robbery.

Police have an arrest warrant out for Demarques Mitchell, 16, for theft from the Foot Locker store, located at 3057 Gentilly Boulevard. The incident occurred on August 2.
That morning, Police said store security footage captured an unknown black male entering the store. They said the man then walked to a display case and took a single pair of men's shoes and placed them inside a gray book sack. Police said he then posed as a customer, asking questions to various employees before later leaving the store.
About five minutes later, the individual, who Police now believe is Mitchell, returned to the store and was captured on surveillance video placing a black pair of men's shoes in the same gray backpack and leaving the store.

Police also think Mitchell also tried to sell a cell phone that same day at the Cash American Pawn store at 3501 Gentilly Boulevard. Police released that surveillance video of that encounter.
Mitchell is described as a black male wearing a light blue, short sleeve shirt, with a Superman insignia on front, gray long pants, black shoes and a gray back sack.
If you know where to locate Mitchell, call New Orleans Police or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
