NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - "Where is the new Frank Ocean album?" That's a question fans have been asking for a while now. Even superstar Adele has been on edge about getting new music from the New Orleans native.
It's been four years since Ocean release "Channel Orange" which won him two Grammys. In 2013, he announced he was working on another album but there's been no new music since.
Last month, fans saw hope when a picture of a library due date card showed up on his website with the title "Boys Don't Cry" and a date of July 2016. That date is now past due and fans are raging on social media.
Snapchat joined the outcry and added a filter with the caption, "Waiting on Frank Ocean's new music like" paired with a skeleton.
The New York Times reports a new album will be released on Apple Music Friday.
90 candles for Tony
Many celebs hit the red carpet for Tony Bennett's Birthday Bash in New York City. The legendary singer turned 90 this week. The 19-time Grammy winner's party was held at the Rainbow Room.
According to PEOPLE, Bennett was "thrilled" to celebrate with his friends.
Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder took over the piano with a few songs.
It's not a birthday without a cake. Bennett was greeted with two - one decorated with the skyline of New York City and the other with oceans views of San Francisco in honor of his 1962 hit "I left my heart in San Francisco."
Earlier that day, Empire State Building honored Bennett with a special light show synced to some of his biggest hits.
Channing Tatum makes a "Splash"
More of Channing Tatum's hot bod? We'll say yes to that.
The ripped actor will go under the sea for his latest role in a 1984 remake of "Splash."
The original film is about a man who falls in love with a mermaid who saved him from drowning as a young boy. He ends up falling in love with her not knowing what or who she is. As of Tatum's role, he'll play a male version of the mermaid and actress Jillian Bell fill the shoes of the love-struck human.
