BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - The basement of the Louisiana Governor's Mansion in Baton Rouge flooded Friday.
The governor's family was relocated until the situation is resolved, officials said.
Gov. John Bel Edwards was in Colorado for a Governor's Association meeting Friday and returned to Louisiana after being advised of the flooding situation in the state.
Edwards, who has declared a state of emergency for Louisiana, has scheduled a news conference Saturday at 10 a.m. to discuss the flooding in multiple Louisiana parishes.
