Man shot after argument escalates in Algiers

ALGIERS, LA (WVUE) - One man is in a hospital and another was arrested after an argument turned violent in Algiers Monday night.

According to initial police reports, the incident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Tullis Drive.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, and the shooter, Terrance Favorite, 28, were involved in a verbal altercation.

Favorite pulled a gun and shot the victim.

He was taken to a nearby hospital. No information was available on his condition.

Favorite was arrested at the scene.
