NOPD investigating three armed robberies

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating three armed robberies, according to initial police reports.

The first incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Malvern and Curran streets.

The victim, a 60-year-old man, was approached by two suspects, described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts.

One of the suspects put a gun to the victim's head while reaching into his pockets.

The subject removed cash from the victim's pocket and told the victim to run.

The second incident occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lowerline Street.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was sitting in her car when the suspect approached.

The suspect tapped on the glass and pointed a gun at her, demanding her belongings.

The victim complied and the perpetrator fled with the victim's purse down Lowerline Street and then fled in an unknown.

The next incident occurred just before 7 a.m. in the 2500 block of Second Street.

The victim, a 15-year-old juvenile, was approached by a suspect, described as a black male, who demanded her property.

The subject fled location in possession of victim's iPhone.
