Keenan Lewis is a Saint no more. The New Orleans native, who goes by the name "Westbank" has been released by the team, according to multiple sources.

Lewis all but confirmed moving on this evening on his Instagram account saying, "I would like to thank New Orleans and all my fans. It's been an awesome journey. I'm glad I had the opportunity to play for the city I grew up in and love. Thank you and see y'all soon. Hope y'all still cheer for me."

Lewis had been battling knee and hip injuries since last season. It forced him to miss 10 games in 2015. He returned for one practice at the Greenbrier but that's it. During his time in New Orleans, Lewis was the teams top cornerback, and most times, the only true shut-down corner that the team had.

He joined the saints in 2013 as a free agent after playing four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
