Suspects wanted in connection to armed robbery in Motel 6 parking lot

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police ask for the public’s help finding two suspects accused of an armed robbery in the parking lot of a motel 6.

The incident happened in the 4200 block of Old Gentilly Road.

Investigators say around 12:45 am two men approached the two victims near their vehicle.

The suspects demanded the victim’s property. The two men took the woman’s purse and the other victim’s car keys and debit card.

One suspect fled in the victim's 2012 red Chevrolet Camaro with a Texas license plate DSY7485.

The other suspect ran away on foot. One suspect was last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and a  khaki bucket hat.

He is believed to be between the ages of 20 to 25 years old.

The other suspect appeared to be 170 pounds, 5'3 tall and between 20 to 25 years old.

He was wearing yellow construction vest, camouflage pants and a black shirt.

Inside the stolen vehicle the victims had a black 9mm Taurus handgun under the driver’s seat.
