NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The Saints have brought in a veteran in hopes of helping their offensive line. A source confirmed that the team signed tackle/guard Khalif Barnes.
Barnes spent the last seven seasons in Oakland after being drafted by Jacksonville in the second round in 2005. Barnes has played both tackle and guard.
Sean Payton hinted that the Saints could look outside the roster to help solve their offensive line issues. Barnes worked out for the team Monday and signed a one year deal.
