Drake tour rolls into New Orleans Friday

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The next several months will be great for music lovers in the metro area and one of the biggest stars on the planet is coming to New Orleans.

Drake brings his "Summer Sixteen" tour to the Smoothie King Center Friday night. The Canadian-born, Grammy-winning superstar is without question one of the most successful hip-hop crossover artists of this generation.

Drake will perform some of the biggest hits from his varied catalog including a healthy sampling from his latest number one album released in April, "Views". 

Atlanta rap star Future joins Drake and the two will perform songs from their number one mixtape "What a Time To Be Alive" as well as solo sets.

Drake's versatility as an artist also crosses over to the video universe and his 2015 mega-hit "Hotline Bling" is now approaching one billion views!

Here are some of Drake's biggest songs and most viewed videos (each hitting the hundred million viewed club) to get you ready for Friday night's show.
