NOPD investigates fatal shooting in Treme

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is investigating a murder that occurred Wednesday at the intersection of North Robertson and Dumaine streets.

At 5:08 p.m., First District officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area. When they arrived officers discovered the body of a male sitting in the driver's seat of a car and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
