NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Center Max Unger and the Saints have agreed to a three-year contract extension, a source confirmed to FOX 8 Sports.

According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune Unger's new deal averages $7 million per season.

The Saints acquired Unger in a blockbuster trade that sent Jimmy Graham to Seattle. He was recently voted the team's offensive MVP for 2015 by Saints coaches.
