NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Former Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard walks free again.
According to our partners at Nola.com|The Times-Picayune, Broussard was released from home detention Sept. 2. That concludes a 46-month federal prison sentence for conspiracy to commit bribery and theft.
"I don't know God's plan for me, who does? I just know what I've just gone through and just today emerged from a cage," said Broussard.
The former Jefferson Parish President must still report to a probation officer for the next three years.
