NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - An 18-year-old man was shot and killed early Monday morning, according to New Orleans police.
The shooting occurred at 1:19 a.m. near the intersection of Humanity Street and Old Gentilly Road.
When police arrived they found the man lying in the street near Interstate 10 suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will release the name of the victim and determine the official cause of death.
