NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with two recent armed robberies, according to New Orleans police reports.
Police say Davis confessed to his involvement in two armed robberies that took place at Chestnut and Arabella streets (August 25), and Octavia and Coliseum streets (August 31). He was charged with carjacking and armed robbery with a firearm.
Davis also faces charges for illegal possession of stolen things and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle stemming from an incident in the 5500 block of Lafaye Street on (August 4). Officers also recovered two handguns – a .38 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol and a Beretta PX4 9mm connected to that incident.
Investigators still are gathering evidence and searching for additional suspects.
