NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A New Orleans man pleads guilty in a federal heroin distribution case.

Wilbert Clark was one of eight defendants charged in a 21-count indictment that came out of an FBI investigation of a heroin-trafficking organization operating in Central City.

Court records say the group used Megabus to transport half-kilograms of heroin from Houston to New Orleans

According to a news release from the Department of Justice, Clark has a prior felony drug offense and will face a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. U.S. District Court Judge Carl Barbier will sentence Clark in December.
