NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A memorial that honors lives lost in the Deepwater Horizon disaster goes public in New Orleans September 9.
Artist Jason Kimes offers a preview of the memorial with posts on his Facebook page. The display consists of thousands of doubloon-sized steel disks shaped into the forms of 11 people.
