Sixth person arrested for ransacking, burglarizing home while owners were out of town

ASSUMPTION PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a fifth suspect Wednesday in connection with a burglary that happened on April 3. Deputies said Christopher James Percle, 17, was arrested on Sept. 9.

Investigators said the homeowners were out of town at the time of the crimes and returned to find several thousand dollars in personal items had been stolen, and their home had been ransacked. During the investigation, detectives identified six suspects in the case, including Percle.

Three of the suspects were juveniles and have already been arrested. Another man, Tager Matthew Rosson,18, was also arrested for the burglary. He was jailed on a $5,000 bond.

Percle was booked into the parish detention center on charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. His bond was set at $20,000.
