NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A woman faces weapons and drug charges after she crashed her vehicle into a Treme business Thursday morning. The New Orleans Police Department said an officer's body camera snapped an image of a second, unidentified suspect.

Officers responded to Le' Palms Esplanade, at the intersection of Esplanade Avenue and N. Johnson Street, just after 11 a.m. No one was hurt and officers detained the driver, 25-year-old Contessa Bernard. Detectives said they found weapons, a small scale and a black mask inside the vehicle.

Officers tried to stop the unidentified man who may have been Bernard's passenger. He ran away but the NOPD said he dropped a backpack containing drugs and several guns. Investigators said he's wanted on charges of illegal possession of a firearm, stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, drug paraphernalia and flight from an officer.

Call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 if you can help identify the man in the body camera image.
