NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Former New Orleans Saints safety and admitted rapist Darren Sharper is one of 94 players and coaches nominated for the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame induction class, according to a report on NFL.com.
Several first-year eligible players on the list include Donovan McNabb, running back LaDainian Tomlinson, wide receiver Hines Ward and defensive end Jason Taylor.
There are 45 offensive players, 32 defensive players, six special teams players and 11 coaches on the list.
The list will be trimmed to 15 finalists in January.
