Two cars stolen in separate Thursday thefts

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Two cars were stolen in separate Thursday incidents, according to initial police reports.

The first incident occurred just after 1:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Harding Drive.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was approached by an armed man who demanded his car keys and property.

The victim complied and the suspect fled in his white Subaru Forester.

The next incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of Crete Street.

The victim, a 52-year-old woman, was getting out of her car when she was approached by two men.

One of the suspect, described as a black man wearing a ski mask, orange shirt, and dark pants, demanded her car keys and property.

There was no description of the second subject.

The victim complied and the perpetrators fled in her 2016 Toyota Scion with her cellphone.
