New Orleans Police released surveillance photos of a man they say used a gun to rob a gas station in New Orleans East.

The clerk at the Shell station in the 9200 of Chef Menteur Highway told police that on Thursday just before noon the man walked into the convenience store, lifted up his shirt and pointed to a handgun, then demanded cash. The clerk complied, and the robber ran off.

If you can help identify this man, call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or the Seventh District at (504) 658-6070.
