NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating a homicide at Willow & Josephine streets in Central City.
According to initial police reports, there is one female victim.
Through a family member, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune has identified as Sabrina Watson, 43.
Police say she was shot to death while inside her car. She was shot several times around 8:45 a.m.
The victim was found alone in the car, in the driver's seat.
Family members say she was the mother of three children, one of which recently graduated from high school.
New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Michael Harrison is at the scene, as is New Orleans bounce artist Big Freedia has also arrived at the scene.
Homicide detectives are on the scene surrounding the victim's Hyundai Santa Fe. Detectives are also going door to door possibly looking for witnesses and surveillance video.
