NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The official start of Fall is tomorrow, but it's certainly still feeling like summer! Plan for unseasonably hot conditions the rest of the week with the skies remaining sunny and dry.
Temperatures will continue in the 90s but the humidity will be a tad lower, especially north of Lake Pontchartrain.
A strong area of high pressure will ease up a bit and allow for temperatures to drop to the low 90s into the weekend.
This could also allow for a couple of pop up showers. Models are in disagreement about the arrival of our first Fall cold front, but we'll be keeping a close eye for one to possibly move through next week.
Tropical Storms Karl and Lisa are in the far Eastern Atlantic and will not affect the Gulf of Mexico.
