One for the Weekend: Hunter Hayes drops trio of singles

(WVUE) - Louisiana's own Hunter Hayes just released a trio of new singles, but instead of just One for the Weekend, we'll give you all three.

The 25-year-old country, pop rock star has come a long way since his 2010 debut. While the Breaux Bridge native now calls Nashville home, Hayes plays a mean guitar and this is prominent on two of his cuts, "Yesterday's Song" and "Young Blood."

While these songs appear to be a prelude to Hayes' 4th album, there's no word on when that could come. Like "Yesterday's Song," Hayes shows his rocking side on "Young Blood" and that he's not going to be pigeonholed into any music genre.

Hayes has been dropping hints that new music was coming on Twitter. Since dropping the new tunes he had this message for his fans in a video from Twitter.

"We are just getting started, we just put this music out on my birthday, right," said Hayes. "I feel like this process has just begun but already the support you guys have been showing, the love that you guys are showing to this new music is phenomenal. More big news coming soon."

Hope you enjoy getting a triple dose of Hunter Hayes in your "One for the Weekend."
