NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Buzzing fans will pack the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans Saturday night to see "Queen Bey."
Fans rejoiced when the star added New Orleans to the second leg of her "Formation World Tour" back in May. Some thought it was odd the singer did not include New Orleans in the first round of tour dates due to her frequent use of the city's imagery.
Nonetheless, fans have stressed their excitement on social media to see the "Hold Up" singer.
One fan tweeted "There aren't any words in the English language to describe how excited I am to see Beyonce' in NOLA Saturday. Trust me. I've looked."
Fans in the "Big Easy" are also hoping bounce artist "Big Freedia" will make an appearance since she's featured on the "Formation" song.
Show starts at 7:30 pm with opening act DJ Khaled.

Jared Leto to play Andy Warhol
Oscar winner Jared Leto is set to play eccentric pop art icon Andy Warhol in an upcoming biopic.
Leto, born in Bossier City, Louisiana, will also fill the producer chair for the project. The film will be based in part on a 1989 biography of Warhol, who revolutionized the art world in the 1960s.
Warhol died in 1987 at the age of 58.
Cotillard not to blame
Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard makes it clear that she's not to blame for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's split.
Cotillard plays at Pitt's love interest in an upcoming film "Allied."
Some suggest their own screen romance may have played a role in Angelina's decision to file for divorce from Pitt.
Cotillard made a statement Wednesday saying, "The situation is spiraling and affecting people I love."
She continued by stressing her love for partner Guillaume Canet who is also the father of her 5-year-old son. The couple is also currently expecting another child.
Cotillard says she hopes Pitt and Jolie "find peace."
