BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

Former LSU head football coach Les Miles met with his players this afternoon after his release from the program. Players admitted after there wasn't a lot of dry eyes in the building while Miles was speaking.

"No matter what he always loved us, and he always will. We shocked too. At the end of the day, it's the memories we had with him. People are going to say what they say. To me he's one hell of a coach. Every coach have their own way of coaching. It's just shocking," said running back Leonard Fournette.

Some of the players still couldn't believe there will be no more Miles on campus.

I definitely was surprised, I didn't see that coming. I wasn't thinking about it at all. I'm still shocked right now. It's adversity we got hit with. We just got to connect as one, move forward, and look forward to Coach Orgeron coaching us up," said safety Jamal Adams.
