Happening Today: The Saints take on the Falcons in a big battle at the Dome

Saints fans get pumped for Monday night clash with the Falcons

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints are hoping for a little prime time magic tonight as they look for their first win of the season.

The team takes on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Saints have lost their first two games by a combined four points.

But the team will have to put those the disappointing losses behind them as Atlanta comes to town.

The Saints are looking for some inspiration inside the Dome tonight.

It's been 10 years since Steve Gleason's blocked punt against the Falcons sent the team on its way to a successful season.

But this is a much different team than what we saw in 2006.

The Saints came into this season with hopes getting into the playoffs after missing out for the past two years.

But with an 0-2 start, the team's chances are dwindling as only three teams in NFL history have ever started 0-3 and made the playoffs.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

But the party in New Orleans leading up to the game will start much earlier than that.
