(WVUE) - A much anticipated cold front will continue making its way across the area today.
This means an enjoyable northwesterly breeze this afternoon and temperatures won't climb quite as much.
Highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s, so it will still be a warm afternoon. Plan for sunny and dry skies.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to the mid-60s on the north shore and low 70s on the south shore.
By Friday morning, upper-50s can be expected on the north shore and upper 60s on the south shore.
This is near average for this time of year, but it will feel great compared to the record heat of earlier this week.
