Suspect sought in kidnapping and battery of Tulane student

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department has released a sketch of a person wanted for the kidnapping and sexual battery of a Tulane University student.

The victim told police that on Oct. 2 around 4:15 a.m. she was walking near the intersection of Broadway and Freret streets when a vehicle pulled up. A black male exited the car and forced the victim into the back seat.

The suspect is described as being in his mid to late 30s, approximately 6' tall and weighing around 250 pounds. He is bald, has a light to medium complexion, and was wearing a Polo style shirt and dark colored jeans.
