(WVUE) -

There has been no change as it relates to the status of LSU playing in Gainesville on Saturday. Hurricane Matthew's path could possibly turn toward the University of Florida campus this weekend. The school released a statement this morning.

"We continue to monitor the progress of Hurricane Matthew and its potential impact on campus. We are working closely with local, state and university officials as well as the Southeastern Conference office," said Chip Howard, executive associate athletic director for internal affairs at Florida.

LSU and Florida kickoff at 11 a.m. Saturday.
