NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Leilani Heno, owner of X Trainers in Mid City demonstrates a workout that focuses on stability using a Bosu Ball.
1. Bicep curls - Step on the flat side of the ball while holding weights and perform bicep curls in a squat position. Beginners might experience shaking of the legs. This is normal while the muscles are working on stability.
2. Pushups - Using the flat side of the bosu ball, perform a standard push up. This exercise also helps to improve stability.
3. Crunches - Crunches target the abs. Using the bosu ball can help to protect your lower back. Make sure your lower back in placed on the ball and perform crunches for two sets of 25. This exercise can also be done using a medicine ball.
