NOPD looking for man who robbed Rite Aid with scissors

A man robbed a St. Charles Avenue Rite Aid with a pair of scissors and New Orleans police are asking for the public’s help finding the armed robbery suspect.

On September 29 around 8:45 p.m., a suspect, described as a black male, was seen entering the Rite Aid in the 7100 block of St. Charles Avenue.

The suspect picked up a pair of scissors and put them in his backpack, then walked toward the front door of the store.

He then pulled the scissors from the backpack and pushed the cashier behind the counter.

He forced the cashier to open both registers and took the money before fleeing the store.
