Man wanted for Jefferson Parish murder arrested in TX

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) -

Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested a man wanted for first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Rashaud Robinson, 27, of Metairie was wanted for allegedly killing Jeffery Johnson on Sept. 7 in the 300 block of South Bengal Rd. in River Ridge.

A 16-year-old suffered minor injuries and another victim managed to escape the scene unharmed.

Robinson was arrested Thursday morning by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, along with SWAT members in Killeen, TX.

Robinson will be booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center when he returns to Louisiana.
