NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Detectives discovered a missing man's vehicle abandoned in the Seventh District.

Police say 42-year-old Dwayne Cobbins was last seen when he dropped off laundry at his mother's house September 9.

Investigators say they've been told Cobbins usually calls his mother every day, but she has not heard from him and he is not answering his phone.

Police located his 2012 Nissan Altima, but there's been no sign of Cobbins.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact detectives at 504-658-6060 or call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
