NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Government doctors say they're looking into the deaths of 10 children who used homeopathic teething treatments.
The Food and Drug Administration warned caregivers in early October to stop using homeopathic tablets and gels sold under a variety of names.
They confirmed October 13 they're looking into the deaths of some children who used them. They stress "the relationship of these deaths to the homeopathic teething products has not yet been determined."
While no recalls have been issued in connection with the homeopathic products, Walgreens and CVS stores have chosen to stop selling them.
