NOPD searching for 2 siblings reported missing

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating two siblings reported missing from a home on Jasmine Street.

Police are searching for 11-year-old Cowanda Brister and her brother, 16-year-old Emanuel Brister.

According to their grandmother, they were last seen leaving their home in the 2600 block of Jasmine Street at 4 p.m. without permission.

Cowanda was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans with white writing on the front of them and black and pink tennis shoes.

Emanuel was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue pants and gray tennis shoes.

If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the siblings, they are asked to call Detective Kristie Harper or any Third District detective at (504) 658-6030.
