NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police were scrambling in the 8 p.m. hour Monday as shootings in two neighborhoods turned fatal.
Officers were first called to the 2400 block of Dreux Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. in response to shots fired in the area. When they arrived they found a male shot in the chest. The victim later died at the hospital, and no further information was released.
Then, at about 8:45 p.m., police were called to the 4800 block of Constance Street, where a male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He also died at the hospital.
