NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are searching for a man wanted in connection with an Oct. 18 home invasion and second-degree battery in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

They say around 3 p.m. that day, Miguel Joseph Young, 42, showed up at his estranged wife’s home and forced his way inside. He allegedly hit her, causing severe facial and head trauma. She was severely injured and wasn’t found until the next afternoon, when she was taken to the hospital.

Police say Young has an extensive history of domestic violence charges and should be considered dangerous. Once located, police say Young will be booked with felony home invasion, second-degree battery and domestic abuse.

Anyone with information about where Young may be should call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
