Coroner IDs man killed in Algiers triple shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The Orleans Parish coroner on Friday released the name of a man killed in a triple shooting in Algiers.

Lenord Moses, 26, died of a gunshot wound Thursday in the 6100 block of Tullis Drive.

The NOPD said a 6-month-old baby who was also shot in the incdent is out of surgery and in stable condition. Another 26-year-old man was also injured in the shooting.

Officers said they responded to reports of gunfire at the entrance to the Cypress Run apartment complex at about 9 p.m. and found the victims shot in a car.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
