NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Today was a beauty as highs struggled to 80 degrees. A Fall-like night is in store with temperatures dropping back to the 40's on the North Shore and upper 50's away from the lake to near 60 in the city. We'll see a gradual warm up with calmer winds throughout the day, Monday, as highs will be in the 78-81 range.
Through the week, highs will climb back into the low 80's for all areas and overnight lows will gradually moderate as well. Plan for comfortable conditions with dry, mostly sunny skies. The only chance for rain is low for late Wednesday & Thursday.
In the tropics, there are no areas of interest for potential development in the Atlantic basin over next five days.
