NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Glushon Sports Management released a statement, Sunday, providing an update New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday and his wife Lauren. Jrue will miss an undetermined amount of time while he cares for Lauren, who recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. The surgery was delayed until the couple's child, Jrue Tyler Holiday was born in September, weighing six pounds, four ounces. Jrue Tyler is healthy and home with her family, according to the agency.

"Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and support for Lauren and Jrue Holiday over the last several months. I'd like to provide you with a quick update on what has happened over the last several weeks. In September, Lauren Holiday gave birth to Jrue Tyler Holiday. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces. She is healthy and at home with her family. In October, Lauren Holiday underwent surgery at Duke University Hospital to remove a brain tumor. She will continue to recover in North Carolina with her husband Jrue and daughter Jrue Tyler. During this time, we ask that you respect the family's privacy and keep them in your thoughts and prayers."
